Liquid castile soap is completely biodegradable and made from pure vegetable oils such as olive and coconut. It is suitable for use by vegans and vegetarians thanks to its pure plant make-up.
It is environmentally friendly, safe and gentle on the skin and has a multitude of household uses:
Try it as a…
Fruit and vegetable cleaner
Get rid of dirt, residue and critters by simply filling your sink or a basin with cold water then adding 1 teaspoon of castile soap. Use your hands or a bristled vegetable brush to clean the surface of your produce then rinse under running water.
Bug off spray for your veggie
Trying to keep your crop as organic as possible? Make your own bug spray by filling a large spray bottle with a litre of water. Add in 1 t bs castile soap, 1 tsp crushed garlic and ½ tsp cayenne pepper or chilli powder. Shake well then spray plants directly. Note: spray them before the sun rises or after it has set to get the best results for your plants.
Face, body and hair cleanser (who needs 3 products when you can have one!)
It’s so gentle on skin and scalp that you can use this as an all-in-one product for the shower or bath. Squirt a small amount into your hand then add water to create a lather (or use a sponge for use on the body) then use as you would shampoo or body wash. It’s even suitable for sensitive body parts such as your face and won’t strip natural oils from your skin. Amazing!
